Super Monday Night Combat (Super MNC) is a free-to-play third-person shooter multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) action game. The original Monday Night Combat was stuck in the middle between the third-person shooter and MOBA genres, using Defense of the Ancients lane-pushing with shootouts between a six classes. Super Monday Night Combat (Super MNC) takes everything that was good about the constant activity, dynamic quips from a clichéd play-by-play coommentator, irreverent character design but puts more of its focus into the MOBA mold. A futuristic deathsport pits the five-man Hots Shots against the Icemen, each trying to get at the Moneyball in their opponent’s base. Waves of bots endlessly spawn on either side of the three maps, and it’s up to the player’s champions-Pros, as they’re known, to turn the tide in their favor.

The main objective of the two teams is to destroy the other team’s Moneyball. To do so, they must venture beyond several turrets which can only be destroyed by pushing bots through their lane. Once the bots reach the enemy turrets, their shield will go down and the Pros can destroy the turrets all the way till the Moneyball. As Pros destroy enemy bots and kill enemy Pros they will gain money which will award experience points that increases the character’s level and allows to upgrade skills depending on the chosen Pro. The money looted can be spent to spawn more waves of bots, purchasing products at vending machines to refill health and speed up the character, and activate multiple functioning buttons which vary in use depending on the map.

Super Monday Night Combat (Super MNC) is frentic team-based action. A fine marriage between third-person gunning and MOBA spellcasting.
